Cookies and your choices

This page explains the website’s current use of cookies and how optional tracking will be controlled. For information about enquiries, client records and your rights, read our Privacy Policy.

Current website configuration

Meta Pixel and Google Analytics are not active. We have prepared Complianz consent controls for future optional technologies. Preparing those controls does not activate advertising tracking. Where only necessary technologies are used, a consent pop-up is not required.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember settings on your device. Scripts run website functions; advertising pixels can send information about visits to another provider. The same consent requirements can apply to these technologies, not only cookies.

Necessary website functions

Technical storage may be used to deliver a requested function, protect the site or remember privacy choices. It is not used by us for advertising profiles. Strictly necessary device access is permitted under § 25(2) TDDDG. Associated personal data is processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure website operation and respecting your choices.

When the Complianz controls are displayed, first-party cmplz_* cookies and browser storage remember the policy version, whether the banner was dismissed and category or service choices. The configured consent expiry is 365 days, unless you clear the storage or a change requires a fresh choice. These preference records stay within the website and your browser; installing Complianz does not subscribe you to an external marketing service.

WordPress also uses authentication and settings cookies for authorised people who sign into website administration. This is separate from ordinary browsing: visitors are not asked to create an account. These administrative cookies support login and editor preferences, rather than advertising.

Optional technologies and consent

Before we activate analytics, advertising pixels or optional external embeds, we will identify the actual providers, purposes, storage duration and relevant transfers in this notice and our Privacy Policy. Optional device access requires consent under § 25(1) TDDDG, with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applying to associated personal data.

The consent banner will let you accept or reject optional technologies and save individual choices. Necessary functions remain available when you reject optional tracking. Once these technologies are enabled, use Cookie settings to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Your browser controls

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting consent storage removes the saved choice. Blocking all storage can affect a requested function or mean your settings are not remembered. Our social media links open external websites only when clicked; those sites apply their own privacy notices.
